Kentucky Perfect Heading into NCAA Tourney

Kentucky became the first team since the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers to enter the NCAA tournament undefeated after beating Arkansas 78-63 in the SEC tournament final, moving the Wildcats to a perfect 34-0 record.

The Wildcats will be the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament bracket, which will revealed later today. It was Kentucky’s 28th SEC tournament championship.

Willie Cauley-Stein led the Wildcats with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Andrew and Aaron Harrison combined for 26 points.

Kentucky is looking to claim its 9th National Championship. The Wildcats won the 2012 National Championship under coach John Calipari.
