The Kansas Jayhawks offensive line may be a bit sleepy early on Saturday morning against Ohio. They certainly didn’t come to block on this play against the Bobcats, leaving quarterback Peyton Bender with nowhere to go but down.

Having all five linemen cut block and then proceed to whiff nearly everywhere is not a recipe for success. Not surprisingly, the Jayhawks did not score through the first quarter and a half against Ohio.

Kansas will quickly have to get their blocking down, as they are set to open their Big 12 schedule at home next weekend against West Virginia.
