J.R. Smith added some salt to the Boston Celtics’ wounds Friday in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, as his fadeaway jumper at the buzzer sent the Cleveland Cavaliers into halftime with a 72-31 lead.

After a missed shot led Smith to an offensive rebound in the right corner, he immediately turned around and fired the shot in heavy traffic.

Smith’s improbable shot finished off a 40-13 second-quarter advantage for the Cavaliers, as they were well on their way to a 2-0 series lead.
