Jorge Gutierrez has played in just 47 NBA games in his career, most recently appearing with the Charlotte Hornets in 2015-16. Now, he finds himself a member of the Portland Trail Blazers’ Summer League squad.

He appeared last season as a member of Trabzonspor B.K. in Trabzon, Turkey, which is not exactly the NBA Summer League, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t picked up a trick or two along the way.

The native of Chihuahua, Mexico played collegiately at Cal before going undrafted in 2012. A two-time selection to the NBA D-League All-Defensive First Team, Gutierrez can bring some other elements to his game beyond the no-look dish behind his back.
