Johnny Hekker’s USA jersey arrives at worst possible time

A Johnny Hekker online order appears to have arrived at a bad time, and the Los Angeles Rams punter alerted the Internet about the misfortune.

Apparently, Hekker received a Christian Pulisic jersey in the mail today — a day after, you know, that jersey won’t matter for a while since the U.S. men’s national team lost to Trinidad and Tobago to end its 2018 World Cup bid Tuesday night.

Another Internet man doctored the photo soon after in a way the modern social media community appears to appreciate. Props to what happens to Hekker’s dog, though, in the updated pic.

Hekker has the “Arrested Development” Charlie Brown pose down as well, so not all is lost here.
