Chicago Cubs starting pitcher John Lackey voiced his frustration during Friday’s matinée against the arch rival St. Louis Cardinals and he had every right to. After an apparent strike three call to Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez in the top half of the fifth inning was ultimately ruled a ball, Lackey had some words for the home plate umpire.

Naturally, Martinez drilled a RBI single as a result of the following pitch, prompting Lackey to lose his cool.

However, the veteran hurler wasn’t the only Cubs player to be tossed from the game — enter catcher Willson Contreras, who was also irate.
