Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is paid to hit quarterbacks, not golf balls. That doesn’t mean the 6-foot-6, 290-pound Watt won’t try to club his way through 18 holes at Erin Hills in Wisconsin, home of the 2017 U.S. Open.

If nothing else, it appears Watt won the group that he was with, so that’s at least a start. As for that 10-shot total on 18? Gonna need to improve that, J.J.
The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year was limited to just three games last season due to back surgery and will be looking to take the over, and not the under, on playing in three games in 2017.
