Jimmy Johnson to present Jason Taylor at Hall of Fame induction

Jason Taylor played for Jimmy Johnson for just three of his 15 seasons, but the former defensive end set for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame maintains a bond with his first NFL head coach.

So much so the first-ballot Hall of Famer chose Johnson to be his presenter come August in Canton, Ohio. This will be a unique sequence since Johnson is not exactly known for his Miami Dolphins years (1995-99) but rather for being one of the architects of the Dallas Cowboys’ dynasty.

Some anecdotes figure to come out to help shed light on Johnson’s second act and Taylor’s first, and the legendary sack artist picked someone who’s spent his fair share of time in front of a camera. Should make for a good speech.
