Javier Baez makes terrible throw on double play attempt

WASHINGTON, DC - JUNE 28: Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez (9) gets ready to throw to home plate during a MLB game between the Washington Nationals and the Chicago Cubs on June 28, 2017, at Nationals Park, in Washington DC. The Nationals defeated the Cubs 8-4.

Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez is known for his defensive wizardry. That wasn’t so much the case on Monday night.

While he can pull off some amazing tricks, there is also the other end of the spectrum, which doesn’t always end well.

Baez pulled off the difficult task of drilling an iPad in the Atlanta dugout with a throw while actually attempting to throw to a base.

With the vast majority of good that comes with his glove, there is also some bad, which just so happens to scatter into the Braves dugout. There wasn’t much first baseman Anthony Rizzo could do about this one.
