The tribute to Roy Halladay‘s life is set to begin soon at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida — the Philadelphia Phillies‘ spring training home.

The two-time Cy Young Award winning pitcher died tragically in a plane crash off the Florida coast last week. He played 16 big league seasons — 12 for the Toronto Blue Jays and another four for the Phillies while winning the Cy Young Award for each club.

Halladay returned to the Phillies organization earlier this year, working as a guest instructor out of Clearwater, Florida.
