There was a time when Hector Sanchez was a San Francisco Giant, but that time is no more. The Padres backup catcher moved south in the state of California from the Bay Area and his walk-off blast on Saturday night sunk his former team as they got their ace back on the mound.

Just prior to the at-bat, the Padres bunted the runner from first to second so that the winning run could be driven in with a simple base hit. Sanchez said no to that idea, cranking his fourth home run of the year three decks up on the Western Metal Supply Co. building.
