Graham DeLaet is perhaps best known for his once-suave facial hair. He has also never won a PGA Tour event before, a feat he is unlikely to accomplish at this year’s PGA Championship.

On Saturday, though, he came narrowly close to making history when he was a slight bounce of the ball away from recording just the second par-4 ace in PGA Tour history.

DeLaet’s highest career finish in a major came at the PGA Championship back in 2014, when he finished tied for 15th place.
