New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is back with his teammates as the 2017 NFL offseason remains in its early stages. However, after skipping out on voluntary OTAs, Beckham found himself in the midst of some hot water with the media due to his ongoing contract situation.

Nonetheless, “OBJ” believes he has never been more ready in his preparation than he is at this very moment.

“In every which way, I just feel it there,” Beckham said over the weekend, via NJ.com. “I’ve really been training, and to have these next six weeks and get another opportunity to train, it’s going to be great. … Mentally, physically, spiritually, everything, I just don’t think I’ve ever been as ready as I am now.”

While upping the ante any further is almost impossible at this point, the Giants’ No. 1 wideout has already compiled 288 career catches for 4,122 yards and 35 touchdowns over the course of three seasons atop the highest level.

“Just take it one day at a time,” Beckham said. “Take it one day at a time. get better each and every day. that’s pretty much it. I feel like if you do that, if you win the day every single day, who knows where you’ll be at the end.”

The Giants originally selected the prolific pass-catcher in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of LSU. While the 24-year-old has been plagued by flashes of losing control of his emotions over the years, New York has not regretted picking Beckham, as he’s arguably the best wide receiver in the league today.
