Houston Astros outfielder George Springer suffers from a stutter, but that didn’t stop him from chatting with the FOX broadcast team in the middle of an inning of Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Springer, who started in left field for the American League, spoke about his decision to speak on national television and how he hopes it inspired other people who stutter.

Springer went 0-for-3 on Tuesday while making his first All-Star Game appearance.
