The Dallas Cowboys finished 2016 with the NFL’s best regular-season record. They’ll have a tough time repeating, given the nature of the their schedule for this upcoming season.

Outside of the expected games against the Giants (who handed the Cowboys two of their three regular-season losses) and the rest of the NFC East, the Cowboys will also have to hit the road to face the likes of the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders.

The Cowboys were seen as Super Bowl favorites heading into the postseason, but wound up losing to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round of the playoffs.

They’ll enter the 2017 campaign with a world of expectations. That’s especially true for second-year quarterback Dak Prescott, who finished 2016 as the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
