It took more than 37 minutes, but the scoreless tie in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final was finally broken.
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith collected his own juicy rebound off Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop and swatted the puck in the back of the net for his third goal of the postseason. The goal came on Chicago’s 21st shot of the game.
Should the Blackhawks hold onto their lead, they will clinch the series and the Stanley Cup. It will be their first Cup win since 2013 and the first time they won at home since 1938.
