All eyes may be on Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball, but taking them off Dallas Mavericks rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. would be foolish. One of the breakout stars of the Summer League, Smith Jr. punctuated what may wind up being his final performance with a hellacious dunk down the middle of the lane.

Absolutely no one wanted any part of that, including Lakers 7-foot-1 center Ivica Zubac, who got clear of any impact he may have taken from getting jammed on.

Smith Jr. was the fifth point guard off the board in the 2017 NBA Draft and he appears to be out on a mission to prove everyone wrong early.
