Dallas Mavericks rookie Dennis Smith Jr. is showing off during games in Summer League play, helping excite Mavs backers eager to see the former North Carolina State prodigy in action for real.
Smith is also thrilling fans before games, as evidence by his warmup-line windmill dunk in advance of tonight’s game against the Miami Heat.

Smith is coming off a 25-point performance against the Suns, and it’s clear the Mavs are getting pretty excited about their highest draft pick (No. 9 overall) since Robert “Tractor” Traylor in 1998.
