If you’re looking for a new favorite hockey name with the season having started back up, we present to you: Christian Djoos.

Djoos also happens to have netted the first goal of his NHL career on Wednesday night, the first of the evening for the Washington Capitals in their battle against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Since the Capitals Twitter took the good reference, we’ll settle with, “What a juicy snipe from Djoos to beat Matt Murray.”

Djoos is known more for dishing out assists than putting the puck in the net himself, having led the AHL in dimes last season (45) for all defensemen.
