The Los Angeles Dodgers are already cognizant of the fact that they found lightning in a bottle in the form of utility specialist Chris Taylor, but he was out to prove he wasn’t a 2017 first half fluke on the first defensive play of the second half.

After Marlins Park turned into a home run hitter’s paradise during the Home Run Derby earlier in the week, Taylor denied Dee Gordon (and his 0 home runs in 2017) of extra bases.

Not exactly the ideal route to the ball, but ultimately it ended with the ball in Taylor’s glove and his face in the lime green and blue wall.
