With another week of the 2016-2017 NFL regular season in the books, the league has rewarded a new crop of talent for their efforts during the Week 12 slate of games. As a result, Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill and New Orleans Saints’ running back Mark Ingram have been named as the AFC and NFC Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

In addition, the league has named Oakland Raiders’ pass rusher Khalil Mack and New York Giants’ defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul as the AFC and NFC Defensive Players of the Week alongside Baltimore Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker and Detroit Lions’ kicker Matt Prater as the AFC and NFC Special Teams Players of the Week.

Leading the way this time around, the 22-year-old Hill scored three touchdowns on Sunday evening against the Denver Broncos. While leading the Chiefs to a pivotal overtime win, the up-and-coming offensive weapon recorded a rushing touchdown, receiving touchdown and a kick return touchdown while becoming the first rookie to score three different types of touchdowns since Gale Sayers in 1965.

On the other hand, a veteran rusher in Ingram helped the Saints rout the Los Angeles Rams by the score 49-21. In doing so, he managed 14 carries for 146 yards and one rushing touchdown alongside catching one pass for another 21-yard score. While previously sharing the workload out of the Saints’ backfield with fellow running back Tim Hightower, Ingram also recently encountered a concussion despite notching his breakout performance in Week 12 against the Rams.
