As is customary after an Edwards win, there was a celebratory backflip.
He stuck the landing.
The victory was Edwards’ 24th career Sprint Cup Series victory, first with Joe Gibbs racing and first since the 2014 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma.
Greg Biffle, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Matt Kenseth and Martin Truex Jr. rounded out the top five in that order.
