The defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks are in salary cap trouble and have made several moves this offseason in order to alleviate the pressure. One of them was trading away young forward Brandon Saad to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Now, another forward, Patrick Sharp, could be on the trading block.

Tennessee Titans could be most improved team in 2015

The Tennessee Titans finished last season tied for the worst record in the NFL at 2-14. As such they held the No. 2 overall pick in the draft and selected their future franchise quarterback out of the University of Oregon, Marcus Mariota. It was not the only marquee addition in Nashville.

Pigskin’s Nathanael Rutherford says given the team’s acquisitions this offseason, including linebacker Brian Orakpo, the Titans could be the NFL’s most improved team in 2015. The Titans haven’t made the playoffs since 2008 and have not had a winning record since 2011.
