Charging the mound after being hit by a pitch is a serious act, as it serves as the spark that ignites a bench-clearing altercation. That was not the case in this game in the South Korean KBO, as the batter and pitcher shared a hug and a good laugh.

Meanwhile, the home plate umpire got a good laugh out of the situation as well as he walked out to give the pitcher another baseball.

It’s also a reminder of former major leaguer Eric Thames’ fake charging of the mound during a game in South Korea earlier this year.
