Starters for RD#30 of the Attesa FanRag Super 7 Sweep fantasy game are due by midnight this Friday, or 12:00 a.m. MST (Arizona) Saturday morning.

The last Pirelli World Challenge SprintX races of the season are Saturday and Sunday at COTA, but there will be a third race there as well. On Friday, before this round’s deadline, the series will make up the second Mosport race from May that was rained out. Starters have been locked since 5/20 and then we’ll close out RD#15 and update all scores and rankings.

Cup is at Darlington for its traditional Labor Day race with Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, Martin Truex, Jr., Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski the most popular picks.  Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray and Clint Bowyer could use a win to make the chase; Joey Logano and Dale Earnhardt Jr. can only make the playoffs by going to Victory Lane. Qualifying is Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST(NBCSN) and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Bojangles’ Southern 500 broadcast starts at 6:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 3. BTW, there’s also an Xfinity race at ‘the track too tough to tame’ plus a truck race at Mosport.

Formula 1 is at Monza for the Italian Grand Prix where Lewis Hamilton and Sebastien Vettel have won five of the last six races.  No wonder they’re the first and second most popular picks, followed by the usual Mercedes/Ferrari/Red Bull suspects. Max Verstappen may be qualifying overweight due to all the rabbits feet and other lucky charms he’ll be carrying; he’s DNF’d, usually due to mechanical failures, in six out of twelve races in 2017.  Live qualifying can be seen on NBCSN at 5:00 a.m. EST Saturday morning with the race broadcast’s pre-race show starting at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday.

IndyCar is at the Glen, qualifying is Saturday afternoon with the 60-lap race going green at 1:30 p.m. EST, televised on NBCSN.  Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden and Will Power are top three in picks followed by the rest of Team Penske, Rahal, Hinchcliffe and Alexander Rossi.

Latest news: Andretti is staying with Honda, Tony Kanaan has a new ride for 2018 and Takuma Sato is going to be a full time teammate to Graham Rahal.

If you haven’t submitted your picks yet, go to FMFL now and good luck!
