The news just keeps getting worse for the Atlanta Hawks. Not only are they down 0-2 in their Eastern Conference Finals series with the Cleveland Cavaliers, they will have to climb out of that hole without one of their best shooters.
The Hawks announced that shooting guard Kyle Korver will miss the remainder of the postseason with a severe right ankle sprain, after an MRI revealed the extent of the injury on Saturday.
Korver suffered the injury during the third quarter of Friday’s 94-82 loss to Cleveland. Cavs guard Matthew Dellavedova rolled into Korver as both players tried to corral a loose ball.
