Every year, there are new storylines that emerge from NBA summer league play. A season ago, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Glen Rice Jr. owned the summer. The year before that, Dwight Buycks set the league on fire. In 2012, Josh Selby lit it up with a 24 point-per-game average.
Needless to say, success in summer league rarely is an indicator of success to come on the bigger stage.
