The Army Black Knights defeated Buffalo on Saturday 21-17, but it’s how they iced the game that will be remembered.

Running a fake punt is usually a means of getting back into a game, not an indication of salting it away. But Army was leaving nothing to chance on Saturday, not allowing the Bulls to get the ball back one final time.

Army is going to need a whole lot more than fake punts the next time it takes the field, which will be next Saturday against the No. 2-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
