The two youngest men with singles Grand Slam titles to their name could face off in November’s Davis Cup final.

Juan Martin del Potro and Marin Cilic, who will both turn 28 this month, powered Argentina and Croatia, respectively, to semifinal wins this weekend over Great Britain and France.

To preserve his wrist, del Potro didn’t play in Sunday’s deciding fifth rubber against Great Britain, but his epic five hour victory Friday over Andy Murray delivered the one win over Murray that Argentina needed. Though Murray swept Guido Pella on Sunday after teaming up with brother Jamie to beat del Potro and Leonardo Mayer in doubles on Saturday, Kyle Edmund and Dan Evans were unable to pick up a win between them, as Mayer pulled away from Evans in four sets on Sunday in the fifth rubber.

As for Croatia, Cilic was involved in all three wins:

-Beat Lucas Pouille in four sets on Friday

-Along with Ivan Dodig, upset the top doubles team in the world, Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert, on Saturday

-Swept Richard Gasquet on Sunday to clinch

In order to claim their first Davis Cup title, Argentina will have to travel to Croatia for the November 25-27 final. Croatia’s first and only title came back in 2005.
