Antoine Vermette’s 2OT Goal Lifts Blackhawks Over Ducks (VIDEO)

The Chicago Blackhawks continue to find themselves in multi-overtime games. On Saturday night, the Anaheim Ducks scored three third-period goals to take a 4-3 lead before the Blackhawks scored their fourth to force overtime. Of course, one overtime was not enough.

For the fourth time this postseason, the Blackhawks played another overtime period, only the second time that’s happened in NHL history.

Center Antoine Vermette, scratched in the playoffs on more than one occasion and during this series, scored the game-winning overtime goal to even the Western Conference Final series 2-2.

The pivitol Game 5 is scheduled for Monday night in Anaheim.
