Carlos Beltran appeared to have tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning on Sunday night for the Houston Astros against the Boston Red Sox, but left fielder Andrew Benintendi wasn’t giving up the lead that easily.

After a bloop single scored one run, the 22-year-old unleashed a laser beam of a throw that nailed Jose Altuve coming around third, preserving the lead for the time being, even after the play was reviewed.

Ranked by multiple sites as the No. 1 overall prospect in baseball heading into 2017, Benintendi has firmly entrenched himself as the everyday left fielder for the Red Sox with his all-around skill set.
